The Sally Huss Gallery in La Jolla, California (one of 26 across the country) in the 80’s and 90’s was filled with Sally’s original art, cards, prints, wallpaper, purses and a variety of other stationery products.
Moving from tennis to film, Sally worked for several years for producer/director Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. in several capacities. Here she poses on the set she designed for “The Young Lovers” with Peter Fonda.
Inspired by the gardens around her home and the beach nearby, Sally painted and still paints the scenes she sees in both oils and acrylics.
Sally’s original art covers themes from fish, flowers, sailboats, hearts and Italian vistas to African animals and Oriental symbols. Whether large or small her art is always happy in nature and free-spirited in style.
